Frugal version of the Spaghetti con Bottarga (dried salted tuna roe), more common in Japan.
Not exactly healthy eats - but I eat what I eat. And chase everything down with fruits and veggies and maybe green tea, to offset these spontaneous cravings - and burn everything else in the gym (hopefully).
Here's the v loose recipe I used to fill exactly 1/2 my cereal bowl:
1. Prep handful of angelhair pasta on stove.
2. Melt 1/2 tbs of Butter and drizzle it on the bottom of cereal bowl - let melted butter cool there.
3. Scrape 1.5" of Mentaiko (spicy cod roe - from Japanese / Asian market, seafood section) out of its sac into above bowl. Stir and loosen roe w/ butter.
4. Toss with pasta - S&P if you need too.
Embellishments: scallions, crumpled nori/seaweed, Qewpie mayonnaise (totally not necessary).
